Problems
David Sullivan Junior slating the clubs captain publicly on Twitter.

Ravel Morrison liking Lukaku's instagram of him celebrating.

Winston Reid showing 0% passion and doesn't want to be here.

Mauro Zarate the player who paid himself into West Ham has been kicked out for not being good enough ... Kevin Nolan looked well below pace last night.

I have stuck up for Sam for too long but the Zarate thing has wound me up most. I like Nolan too but no way is he a top 6 player.

Indifferent means they didn't mind if he stayed or went not wanting him out big time...

Re: Problems
Indifferent means happy for him to go and that doesn't happen if you like someone.

I worked with a few toffees and every one hated their style of football and it wasn't hard to see that every team he manages sets up the same way and that was him doomed at utd.

Charlton fans were the same with curbishley, though ultimately that went and bit them on the arse with relegation.

Cheers for that, H&P. I've had more cramps than a West Ham Liverpool cup final. Genuine problems.

That's actually internet bolloxs. There was a small minority, as with most clubs. The majority were indifferent.

Well I suppose you look at it differently me to me. As a supporter surely all we are concerned with is the end product, results and performances.

If you are getting those then everything else is incidental isn't it? You obviously think differently and so do a few others which is why I think problems being highlighted by some are not seen as problems by others like me.

The product is the result of a process. Is the process that important to us the supporters? I suppose it depends on how in-depth you want to go. I suppose that's the debate coming to balanced conclusion.

But in asnwer to your last post as a single entity I would say they three players you have picked out there are no longer regarded as first team regulars. Nolan may be in Sam's eyes but I think even Sam will see now, after giving Nolan a fair chance, will have to conceed he can no longer slelect him from the start. We will see.

But my point is that shows you that we have gone forward and improved as last season all those three were starters. Think that proves a point.

H&P

I've been buzzing up until x-mas, even after the spurs defeat opening day, which didn't seem so bad because I could see we were playing a lot better, and that was before Sakho and Song.

Then i got a case of Gastroentiritus, and it's been pretty shitty since, still to this day.

I get where your coming from and you are focusing on the product. That's all well and good but my points are more about the process Allardyce is using, and believe you me, if that is going to be more Cole, Nolan and Joey O'Brian in a side holding onto a 0 nil lead at a place like Goodison Park, then I think when I fear for the product, I might have a point.

For what it's worth, I've been following the fortunes of this club as a fan since 1977 so as you can imagine I was buzzing after the City game, or both Spurs games last season.

If you don't like Sam's brand of football, then you'll fucking hate that man.

The outside world saw Everton improve under his reign, but their supporters wanted him out big time by the end due to how boring and negative they were.

I watched some of Sociedad's game last night and he already has them boring the pants off of teams.

Where have I made Sam out to be a Messiah? Please show me.

The thread isn't even about Sam. It's about so called 'problems' at the club that in my mind are not even problems and people are making a big deal of. Most of what I said is about Zarate.

But you make whatever assumptions you want. Up to you.

I did read it you fucking moron. You have been on here for days now bigging BFS up like he's some kind of fucking messiah. The season ends in May fella, not early Jan. Come back to me then.

Russ - A bit of advice, why not wait until the end of the season and see wehre we have ended up before you big up Allardyce as the next coming?

Re: Problems
I can't see Moyes coming in and radically changing the way we've been playing for the better. After all his years at Everton, with a slightly bigger budget and pulling power than we've had, he didn't get the Toffees playing any great deal better than we are now.

He's a lot better than Martinez though, I suppose.

I don't know too much about foreign football so I wouldn't be able to name a lot of potential names, but out of that list, I'd be happy with David Moyes.

Who's on this next bracket of managers you speak of?

I saw a long list of managers both out of and under contract on here earlier, and I can't say any stood out as people who would definitely make us better without probably going several steps backwards first.

Huffers 2:24 Thu Jan 8
Re: Problems
I am not a fan of Sam, have never liked him since the relegation season 2002/03. Never wanted him, have appreciated his ways (Blackpool away impressed me most), HATED him last season, tolerate him this season, however, now he has his favourites to select from again, he seems to be undoing some of the earlier season progress.

I doubt he will be here next season, I cant imagine that the views expressed by the Sullivan children, are not the same as their father. I don't know who will be here next season.

Yes, he has helped the club progress, however, he has broken the record transfer fee more times than any previous manager (I think). Expensive signings that haven't particularly lived up to their fees...Jarvis & Carroll. He has gone through about 15 strikers too I reckon, quite a lot for someone who plays only one up front.

Who will be here next season though, we would have to go into the next bracket of manager in my opinion. Allardyce would probably be top of a shortlist for clubs aiming to finish in a mid-table position. I saw someone on here say the other day, how many clubs above us would have him as their manager...none was the answer and that about sums it up.

Re: Problems
I'll reserve judgement on Zarate and see how well he does at QPR. He looked decent in flashes here but didn't get a proper run in the team.

Not too worried about the Nolan situation. He was poor the other night and hopefully the fact he got 90 mins will mean he's on the bench this weekend especially as Song is back. Nolan has been a good player for us and you can't blame him for wanting to play but it looks like his time here is running out.

Reid is replaceable.

Morrison can do one.

Re: Problems
Persoanl annoyances aside, most of us can agree that red nose of old trafford knew a thing or two about managing football clubs. He booted Beckham out because, roughly his words, "He thought he was bigger than the manager, so I kicked his heed in and told him to get to fuck."

I make him right....even if it's Sir David Spice, let alone what's his name who went to QPR.
